Emile Smith Rowe sends message to Tammy Abraham after matching Arsenal legend in San Marino rout
After making history in England’s match against San Marino, Arsenal starlet Emile Smith Rowe took to social media to send a message to Tammy Abraham.
Gareth Southgate and co., of course, made their comeback not long ago.
Following a 5-0 thrashing of Albania, the Three Lions traveled to San Marino, knowing that another three points would secure their place in next year’s World Cup.
And, after all was said and done, England was able to book their seat on the plane to Qatar in the most comprehensive manner imaginable.
A ridiculously one-sided game ended with the visitors on the right side of a 10-0 scoreline.
Harry Kane was the undisputed star of the show, bagging a first-half poker, while Harry Maguire and Bukayo Saka also found the target:

Meanwhile, Saka’s Arsenal teammate Emile Smith Rowe scored one of the goals.
After making his England debut on the bench against Albania last week, ESR was given the chance to shine in a starting role on the left wing this evening.
And the 21-year-old went on to make the most of his first Three Lions start, scoring a goal and providing an assist in a stellar all-around performance:
Smith Rowe’s 58th-minute strike on Monday also saw him equal Arsenal legend Paul Merson in the record books as the first Gunners player to score in his first England appearance since 1992:

And, as previously stated, ESR was clearly in a good mood after the final whistle at San Marino Stadium.
The midfielder posted a photo of himself celebrating on his official Twitter account tonight, along with a message to ex-Chelsea and current AS Roma striker Tammy Abraham, who set up Smith Rowe’s first international goal:
