Edu is advised to complete £105m deal for Romelu Lukaku in a sweet revenge to Man U and Chelsea, but what is the prospect?

The Gunners could be one of the busier clubs in the summer transfer window.
Despite 2020/21 Premier League season where Arsenal finished eighth in the Premier League table, several names have already been associated with moves to the Emirates Stadium.
Emiliano Buendia is regarded as the choice to Martin Odegaard if Arsenal can’t reach a settlement with Real Madrid to bring the midfielder back for another spell after awing on loan during the second half of the campaign.
Meanwhile, connections to the likes of Yves Bissouma, Sander Berge, Ryan Bertrand, and Josh Doig just refuse to go away as Mikel Arteta looks to renovate his first-team squad.
Depending on what transpires with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah – both are out of the agreement at the end of next season – a new striker might also be a preference for Arteta and technical director Edu.
And the two have been told to make a move for Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku.
The proposal comes from former Arsenal youngster Sanchez Watt, who believes the Belgium international is required at the Emirates to get revenge on Chelsea and Manchester United.
“Btw (by the way) we need @RomeluLukaku9 at Arsenal,” Watt wrote on Twitter. “Let him get revenge on Chelsea and Man u.”
It’s strange that Edu will be capable to grant Watts’s request for a couple of reasons.
One being Lukaku’s price tag as funds are expected to be limited for Arsenal this summer.

Last month, The Daily Mail stated that any side intending to sign the striker would have to break their own transfer record and throw out a whopping £105million to bring him back to England.
Another reason why Lukaku to Arsenal is unpropitious is back in 2014 he pointed a definite dig at the club by examining why Mesut Ozil joined them from Real Madrid.
“No disrespect to Arsenal who is also a big club, but I don’t understand why Ozil has left real Madrid,” he tweeted, as per the Evening Standard. “I guess will never know…”
Having taken Serie A by storm this summer, inspiring Inter to the title, it seems doubtful that Lukaku would be willing to swap Italy for London particularly for a team not competing in Europe next season.
Moreover, the 28-year-old seems to have already ruled out a return to the Premier League following spells with Chelsea, West Bromwich Albion, Everton, and Manchester United.
During a Q&A session on Twitter in April of last year, Lukaku was asked: “Will you ever play in the Premier League again & will it be back at Everton?”
To which he responded by saying: “I don’t think so but I loved my time at Everton for real.”
