Dortmund ‘reject Ballon d’Or clause included in Jadon Sancho’s Man United deal.’
Borussia Dortmund have reportedly refused to admit the inclusion of a Ballon d’Or clause in any contract for Jadon Sancho to move to Manchester United.
The Red Devils are already thought to have agreed on personal terms with the England international, who is probably in line to pocket a staggering £350k per week at Old Trafford should a proceeding go through.
United are perceived to have formally tabled a £67m bid for Sancho earlier this week, but their proposal was quickly knocked back by Dortmund as they endeavor a figure closer to £80m.
According to The Athletic, Man United also had the intention of inserting a Ballon d’Or clause into Sancho’s deal, which would be activated if the attacker ended in the top three in voting.
However, Dortmund reportedly had no affair in that proposal, with the Black and Yellow instead looking for add-ons related to team performance rather than Sancho’s individual accolades.
