Dortmund intervenes to get Sancho out of United’s hell
A press report revealed that Borussia Dortmund is readying to loan its player, Jimmy Benno Gittens, in order to make way for the return of its former superstar, Jadon Sancho.
Sancho’s name is linked to departing his club, Manchester United, during the upcoming winter transfer period, after his public spat with his Dutch coach, Erik Ten Hag.
According to the Sun newspaper , Sancho’s return to Dortmund in the winter Mercato is one of the likely options for the player. She added, “Man United is open to selling Sancho permanently, but the loan option is also on the table.”
She reported that Sancho’s salary, which amounts to 350,000 pounds per week, may pose an obstacle to Dortmund.
The English winger must agree to lower his salary in order to enable his return to his former German club.
The newspaper explained, “There is no doubt that the loan of Benno Gittins paves the way for Sancho’s return to the Festival Lions.”
Gittins (19 years old) needs to play more minutes, after he participated for only 117 minutes in the German League this season.
