‘Don’t’: Mohamed Salah makes Manchester City and Chelsea claim
Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah has told Sky Sports that Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea will compete for the Premier League title this season with Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool and Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City.
According to Salah, Chelsea and Manchester City are two teams that do not give up points easily.
The Egypt international forward made the remarks about his former club ahead of Monday’s Premier League match between Manchester United and Liverpool at Old Trafford.
Liverpool’s start to the Premier League season has been disappointing.
In their first game of the season, the Reds drew 2-2 with Fulham at Craven Cottage in London before drawing 1-1 with Crystal Palace at Anfield.
Salah told Sky Sports, as transcribed by This is Anfield: “It does for everybody, not just myself, but I think for everybody we can feel that we can’t really lose a point that early.
“You fight with City, you fight with Chelsea, two teams that don’t drop points easily. We just need to focus again and try to win games.”
This season’s Premier League title race, in our opinion, will be very exciting.
Manchester City is currently on fire, while Chelsea has made a strong start to the season.
Liverpool is still a force to be reckoned with, and they will deliver.
We believe that the Premier League title race will go down to the wire this season.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur may also enter the title race.
