‘Disrespect’: Mason Mount says what occurred to £30m Arsenal star is an absolute ‘disgrace’

Aaron Ramsdale of Arsenal has been discussing his FIFA ratings with England teammate Mason Mount.

The pair posted a video on England’s official YouTube channel looking back at the progression of their cards throughout their careers.

The normal trend is for gradual improvement, and Ramsdale could have gotten a boost when he moved from Sheffield United to Arsenal last summer.

But Ramsdale dropped from 75 to 74, and he and Mount had plenty to say about it.

Mount said: “This is not acceptable! This is not acceptable!

“You’re a silver, you’re playing for Arsenal as a silver.

“They actually have decreased, how have you been decreased? Wow. That is disrespect!

“That right there is a disgrace, honestly. This boy has worked hard the whole season. He’s got better and better and better. Yeah he might have been relegated, but he’s got better as a person and a player. I’m done.”

With the release of FIFA 23 approaching, Ramsdale asked Mount what the goalkeeper’s rating should be in that game, to which the Chelsea man replied, “85!”

FIFA ratings are heavily scrutinized, and it appears that they are frequently off the mark as they are correct.

The drop in ratings was harsh, but it reflected the mood in football when Ramsdale joined Arsenal after two consecutive relegations.

However, as he states in the video, he was a member of England’s squad for the European Championship and was clearly improving as a player.

Ramsdale also stated that 85 would be too high for next season, but his ability will be more accurately reflected on FIFA 23.
