‘Disappointed’: Mikel Arteta admits one Arsenal player not happy

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta told the club’s official website that Gabriel Jesus was “disappointed” that he did not score four goals against Leicester City on Saturday afternoon at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League.

Jesus scored twice against Leicester in North London after joining Arsenal from Manchester City in the summer transfer window.

The Brazilian international striker also assisted the Gunners twice.

Arsenal won 4-2.

According to Arteta, Jesus was easily the best player on the field at the Emirates Stadium, but he was still dissatisfied because he wanted to score more goals.

Arteta told Arsenal’s official website about Jesus: “We know what Gabby can do.

“He scored two and assisted two and he’s still disappointed in the dressing room because he said he could have scored four.

“That’s the standard, that’s the mentality that if you want to go to a different level you need that mentality.

“I wouldn’t like to play against him. I have never been a defender but I can imagine that they don’t enjoy it.

“He’s so mobile, so intuitive and is always sharp and proactive to play in any moment and any phase of the game and he’s a real threat.”

Gabriel Jesus’ dissatisfaction with scoring two goals in a game for Arsenal demonstrates the striker’s high standards.

During his time at Manchester City, the Brazil international was accustomed to winning Premier League titles and reaching the final stages of the UEFA Champions League.

Jesus possesses a winning mentality, which he has brought to Arsenal.

The striker has made an immediate impact at Arsenal, and we anticipate him scoring numerous goals for the North London club in the coming weeks and months.
