Details of three ‘Monstrous’ bid prepared by Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp forms midfield plan.
Liverpool’s connections with midfielders across Europe are reaching a frenzied pitch following Georginio Wijnaldum’s Anfield exit.
The Dutchman joined Paris Saint-Germain on a three-year contract on Thursday, leaving Anfield chiefs with the unenviable task of filling the hole left by one of their most dependable performers.
The latest midfielder connected with a transfer to Anfield plies his trade with Lazio and is a familiar name for Liverpool supporters, while the Reds also have a second target in Serie A, according to reports in Italy.
But Jurgen Klopp is also watching players in his domestic Germany, with one Borussia Monchengladbach star considered to have caught his eye.
The possibility is Liverpool will be made to wait to complete signings until after Euro 2020, which kicked off on Friday night.
But there will be no let-up for their scouts and negotiators; here is Saturday’s Liverpool transfer progress.

Milinkovic-Savic bid readied
Liverpool are making an immense offer to sign Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to reports in Italy.
The 26-year-old has been associated with a move to the Premier League for some time and the Reds are understood to have rekindled their engagement.

Milinkovic-Savic scored eight times and added an eye-catching 10 assists in Serie A this season, and Rome-based newspaper Il Messaggero alleges Liverpool see him as an excellent replacement for Georginio Wijnaldum.
But the Serbia international is under agreement at Stadio Olimpico for another three years, meaning it would take a ‘monstrous’ offer to prise him from Lazio.
Liverpool making progress in Romero’s chase.
Staying in Italy, Liverpool are making progress in their hunt of Cristian Romero as they proceed to strictly monitor the Atalanta center-back.
That’s according to Calciomercato, which maintains Romero is priced at €50million (ÂŁ43m) by the Serie A club.

But before they can look to offload Romero at a considerable profit, Atalanta must turn the Argentina international’s loan from Juventus into a permanent deal, and they have a €16million (ÂŁ14m) option to do so.
Romero, 23, was crowned the best defender in Serie A this season after his rock-solid displays in defense helped Atalanta finish third in the league.
Neuhaus talks underway
Although Liverpool are understood to be keen on Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, they are also observing an alternative midfield target, according to reports in Germany.
Sport 1 maintains the Reds held talks this week over signing Borussia Monchengladbach starlet Florian Neuhaus.

The 24-year-old picked up an awesome tally of eight goals and eight assists in all competitions this season and is seen as another possible Georginio Wijnaldum replacement.
The report adds Neuhaus’ €40million (ÂŁ34m) release clause has lapsed, meaning Liverpool can negotiate a lower fee.
Nonetheless, Gladbach are in a strong position as the Germany international has three years remaining on his contract at Borussia-Park.
