Juventus affirmed on their official website that the Portuguese international has joined the Red Devils in a settlement worth 23 million euros (£20million).

In the Premier League, support in the defensive third is required from the wingers and that is why we see a lot of attackers tracking back to defend. Taking into consideration that the veteran will turn 37 in February, it will not be perfect for him to start in the wide attacking positions.
