David Beckham after building Inter Miami from scratch ahead of the new MLS season which kicks off in April, he has a lot of hopes the location of his MLS franchise can be enough pull required to land the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The former England player is very keen on ensuring his Inter Miami can develop its players through their academy system. However, he does recognise how important it is to have international names in his club to raise the club’s interest level.

Inter Miami has already signed players of big reputation like Gonzalo Higuain and Blaise Matuidi to add the glitz and glamour. David Beckham also was able to attract the services of the former Stoke defender Ryan Shawcross and also the Brazilian midfielder Gregore. He believes his team has the aspiration to bring in great players.

With the former Arsenal left-back now West Brom player Kieran Gibbs on talks over joining Inter Miami, Beckham believes his team can get the right players who have lots of ambitions to want to win. He believes players can achieve this through hard work, giving an example of Messi and Christiano who he says have always been on top of their game for the last 15 years, not out of luck but through hard work.

The former Beckham’s Manchester United player Phil Neville is the current manager of Inter Miami football club. With Beckham trying to get the best out of his club, he says he gets a lot of inspiration from the former Manchester United coach Sir Alex Ferguson, who he says was the master at choosing the right players for the team. He praises Ferguson whom he says didn’t always bring the best player in the world but also brought in the right player for his United club.
