Daniel Levy to accept three of Conte’s main demands as contract negotiations continue

Daniel Levy to accept three of Conte’s main demands as contract negotiations continue

Pete O’Rourke, a journalist, asserts that Daniel Levy will meet Antonio Conte’s requests in advance of a planned new contract.

Given that Tottenham manager’s current contract expires next summer, it is unsurprising that much has been said and written about Conte’s future over the past few months.

Jack Pitt-Brooke of The Athletic stated previously that negotiations started on Monday, and the Spurs leadership is confident that the former Chelsea manager will sign a new contract.

According to reports, the negotiations centered not only on the compensation and term of the deal, but also on the club’s January plans. Conte was ‘very eager to know’ and sought assurances from Levy that the club’s ambitions line with his.

O’Rourke has now indicated that additional investments are crucial to the negotiations, and the club is rumored to have promised Conte this. He cites the three primary promises the club is prepared to make to the manager, including the availability of finances, the desire to compete for trophies, and the willingness to compete with rival teams for star players.

He said to This is Futbol: “So I think the main promise will be that funds will be made available and that Spurs will be challenging for silverware and challenging all the rival clubs for the big signatures that are out there in January and next summer.”

Spurs spent over £120 million on a significant number of players over the summer to help Conte enhance his squad and contend for the top four and a trophy.
