Cristiano to Man U more likely than to Madrid, Mengi commits his future at Man U.

According to Italy Tuttosport, Old Trafford is seemingly a more likely destination for the Portuguese international as compared to Real Madrid, with Cristiano to Man U speculation staking shape.

Ronaldo spent six years in Old Trafford before joining Real Madrid for nine seasons. In 2018, he joined Italian powerhouse Juventus.

Juventus are currently facing a financial crisis and Ronaldo is likely to leave in the summer.

For a while, Ronaldo has been linked with a return to Old Trafford and it seems that move is even closer than before.

Real Madrid coach suggested Ronaldo return to Madrid is possible but the Spanish giants have shifted focus to Kylian Mbappe, with Cristiano to Man U more likely than to Madrid

Real Madrid are also ready to battle it out with top clubs to secure a signature of Erling Haaland who is currently in high demand.

Teden Mengi.

Mengi made his senior debut for Red Devils in the Europa last season against Lask Linz. He gained promotion to the first-team squad during the start of this season’s campaign and joined Wayne Rooney’s Derby United until January to gain more exposure.

Mengi has been at Old Trafford since he was seven years of age and has captained the academy age group over time.

After Joining Derby till the end of the last season, Mengi looked rejuvenated and excited. He told Rams TV:

“I’m really excited and I’m buzzing to be here.

“When I first heard Derby County were interested, it was a no-brainer for me to be in the Championship against good opponents and to be playing men’s football. I am really happy to be here.

“I think I did well in the Under-23s last season so I think I need a new challenge. I am a fighter with a willingness to defend and a ball-playing centre-back and vocal as well. I am ready to kick on and this is a brilliant opportunity for me.”
