Cristiano Ronaldo mocks Ralf Rangnick and vents Arsenal frustration

Cristiano Ronaldo mocks Ralf Rangnick and vents Arsenal frustration

The Sun has published new quotes from Cristiano Ronaldo’s interview with TalkTV.

The superstar has criticized the club’s turbulent year, during which he was dissatisfied with the choice to select Ralf Rangnick as interim manager.

Ronaldo was dissatisfied with how his season was squandered the previous year, stating that Rangnick should never have been appointed in charge.

In a highly rude remark, Ronaldo blasted: “You’re not even a coach, how are you going to be the boss of Manchester United? I’d never even heard of him.”

Rangnick was hired by  Manchester United with the intention of becoming a consultant once his employment ended, but this did not occur. Rangnick’s hiring by United was a minor misstep.

It did pave the way for the permanent hiring of Erik ten Hag in the summer, but another interim manager could have served the same objective.

Last season, Ronaldo scored 24 goals, continuing to flourish under Rangnick, who at times appeared to hold his tongue and refrain from criticizing the superstar.

Ronaldo vents Arsenal frustration

Ronaldo is dissatisfied with Manchester United’s inability to contend for the title and cannot believe that Arsenal have surpassed the club.

United is eleven points behind Arsenal in the table. But they are in the third year of a project under Mikel Arteta, while Erik ten Hag has been in charge of Manchester United for three months.

Ronaldo said: “I want the best for the club. This is why I com

e to Manchester United. But you have some things inside that don’t help (us) reach the top level as City, Liverpool and even now Arsenal . . . a club with this dimension should be top of the tree in my opinion and they are not unfortunately.”
