“Come back here”- Atletico Madrid player sends message to Chelsea’s Joao Felix

Koke is of the opinion that Joao Felix, who is currently on loan at Chelsea, will eventually return to Atletico Madrid. Koke also believes that playing for Chelsea will be beneficial for the attacker in terms of gaining more playing time.

Despite a difficult start, Felix has been impressive for Chelsea since his arrival in January for a transfer fee of £10 million, having scored one goal in six games.

Although he was sent off on his debut at Fulham, he has played a pivotal role in Chelsea’s recent resurgence.

Felix had a disappointing start to the season with Atletico, which led to his departure, and Atletico replaced him with Memphis Depay from Barcelona.

Atletico Madrid is currently in third place in the table but was unable to make it past the group stage of the Champions League. In contrast, Chelsea is currently in tenth place but has qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Joao Felix struggled to adapt to Diego Simeone’s playing style and was looking for more playing time elsewhere. He is now flourishing at Chelsea, and the club is interested in extending his loan. However, they will need to agree to Atletico Madrid’s terms.

Koke, on the other hand, is confident that Felix will return to Spain for the next season. According to Koke, speaking to Mundo Deportivo, Felix will benefit from his experience at Chelsea and will return to Atletico Madrid a better player.

“They made the decision to leave. Joao transferred, and Cunha transferred. They are decisions for each one. Totally respectable. Joao is picking up the rhythm of the games; he is gaining confidence for the coming season to come back here.”

It is ultimately Joao Felix’s decision whether he wants to return to Atletico Madrid or stay at Chelsea. Currently, he is performing well and making a significant impact for the Blues. If Chelsea wants to sign him permanently, they will need to make substantial payments.

Felix appears to be enjoying his time at Chelsea, and he has stated that he likes playing in their attacking system. If Chelsea can develop him as a striker, it could be a win-win situation for both Felix and the club.

It is true that Chelsea is in need of a reliable striker and should not try to avoid paying for one. However, if Joao Felix can fill that role effectively, it would be an ideal situation for the club. Additionally, the fans have warmed up to Felix, making it even more appealing to keep him.

The only question remaining is whether Chelsea owner, Todd Boehly, can leverage Felix’s strained relationship with Atletico Madrid and persuade him to stay beyond the summer.
