Club director now heading to London to hold talks with Chelsea over a possible deal
Torino sporting director Davide Vagnati is expected to travel to London to negotiate a transfer for Gleison Bremer with Chelsea.
There has been much speculation in recent weeks about who Thomas Tuchel will seek to bring to the club after stars Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen left after failing to agree on new contracts.
And, according to a few media reports, Torino’s Bremer is one of the defenders Tuchel could look at signing during the summer window to replace the top-class duo.
Bremer has been impressive in recent seasons and is beginning to look like a defender who is almost ready to play for one of the world’s biggest clubs, which has sparked a lot of speculation.
Now, amid all the speculation that the club is very interested in a possible deal for the Brazilian, Torino’s sporting director is heading to London to hold talks with the London club in the hope of inciting a bidding war, according to a report by 90Min.

The Brazilian star recently told clubs such as the Blues that he wants to leave Torino for a bigger club.
Speaking to ESPN via Sempre Inter, he said: “I told the coach and the management [last summer]: ‘I want to change now’. So they told me: ‘Stay this year, help us. Next year, you can take the next step’.
“The fans already know that I have this desire to play in the Champions League, to go there to earn a call-up to the Brazilian national team. I need to play at a much better level, so I think it’s a matter of time.”
