Christian Pulisic’s Chelsea future gets murkier as USMNT man removes all Chelsea references from his Instagram
Christian Pulisic’s future at Chelsea has become a little murkier after removing any references to his current club from social media.
Is Christian Pulisic going to be on the move this summer?
According to Fabrizio Romano as per the Caught Offside, the Chelsea striker may be on the outs with his present club, with an imminent meeting to discuss his future.
Romano stated that “his priority is to continue with the Blues,” but his social media behaviour is fueling speculation that he could be sold.
Pulisic’s Twitter account has stayed unaltered, albeit he is more active on Instagram.
Wiping a social network profile isn’t always necessary. It’s just strange when it happens with transfer rumours. It won’t stop the speculation about the winger’s future in London.
Pulisic joined Chelsea in 2019 after making a name for himself with Dortmund. He became the club’s youngest hattrick scorer and was regarded as one of the league’s brightest young players.
However, he has not made the expected improvement. Starts have been difficult to come by recently, as he is far from guaranteed a berth in the best 11 against Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, Timo Werner, and others.
Chelsea aspired to be a title contender this season, but they weren’t in the same league as champion Manchester City or runner-up Liverpool.
The team could aim to strengthen the squad through transfers while releasing dead weight.
It would be unfair to label Pulisic a dead weight at this stage, but he is still young and accomplished enough to fetch a reasonable transfer fee. Cashing out now might not be a bad idea.
