Christian Pulisic breaks his silence as Chelsea offer winger to Juventus in Matthijs de Ligt deal
Following the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, Chelsea has made De Ligt one of their main summer targets.
Juventus has been offered both Pulisic and Timo Werner as part of the deal for the Netherlands international this summer.
However, according to MailOnline, Pulisic has told Chelsea’s management that he is “in no rush to leave” Stamford Bridge.
According to the source, Chelsea are hoping to achieve an arrangement with AC Milan that will see Hakim Ziyech join the Serie A winners.
Meanwhile, Pulisic has two years left on his Chelsea contract but has just concluded a disappointing season in which he started only 13 Premier League games.
“Of course, I want to get more playing time,” Pulisic said about his situation at Chelsea last month.
“I want to be on the field as much as I can and be the sharpest I can be and fit as well.
“I think I still got a lot of games, but it’s always something that I’m working at and trying to be regular at club level as well to put myself in the best position to be fit when I come here with the national team.”
Juventus has already rejected Chelsea’s bid of €40 million (£34.4 million) plus Timo Werner, but it is understood that the Italian club is open to incorporating the German forward or Pulisic as part of the deal.
Juve is seeking €70 million (£60.3 million) plus Werner or Pulisic for De Ligt, or an outright €100 million (£86.4 million) fee.
