Chelsea transfer news: Raphinha to Chelsea transfer bid ‘accepted’, price disclosed, Arsenal ‘snub’, Todd Boehly goal

Thomas Tuchel is ready to rebuild Chelsea after the Blues fell short of the Premier League title by a significant margin.

Despite finishing third, the west Londoners were far behind Liverpool and Manchester City.

With numerous egregious departures to contend with, the Chelsea manager appears eager to have his aspirations matched by the club’s new owners.

And, with the arrival of the American-led consortium led by Todd Boehly at Stamford Bridge, the Blues have appeared prepared to become one of Europe’s most feared outfits in the summer transfer window.

According to the MailOnline, the new ownership group, who agreed to a £4.25 billion agreement to buy the west London club last month, would ‘push for A-list stars’ to usher in a new era in west London.

With Boehly eager to enhance Tuchel’s arsenal and strike the ground running, The Telegraph reports that, following player sales, the club will have £200 million to spend on new players.

Some of it appears to be set aside to welcome Leeds United’s Raphinha. So SportsDias has examined into what’s being said about the Brazil international in the gossip mill.

Chelsea Leeds Raphinha agreement reached

According to  Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have reached an agreement with Jesse Marsch’s side to sign the winger this summer.

The 25-year-old midfielder has been extensively linked with a transfer away from the Yorkshire club, with Arsenal and Barcelona both apparently interested.

The Blues appear to be the first team to make a breakthrough in talks with Leeds.

The Gunners are thought to be the only other team to have lodged a bid so far, but their efforts have been futile after falling short of the valuation.

Raphinha Chelsea transfer fee disclosed

According to The Athletic, Chelsea and Leeds are close to reaching an agreement for a fee in excess of £55 million for Raphinha, although the deal has not yet been finalised.

According to the article, the west Londoners are now the club and player’s long-term favourites.

Barcelona cannot afford him at the current asking price, and Arsenal cannot either.

Raphinha contract admission

Raphinha has been tight-lipped on his future at Elland Road, insisting that it is entirely up to his agent Deco and the Yorkshire club.

“Leeds has a deal with me until 2024. Deco and Leeds are in charge of my future “He made the statement while on international duty with Brazil.

“I have a contract with Leeds until 2024. My future is in the hands of Deco and Leeds,” he said while on international duty with Brazil.

“I have my mind set on the national team, on the game and also on my vacations. I have a contract with Leeds, and this issue is resolved by my agent. When there is something, he will tell me.”

Boehly plan

According to Fabrizio Romano, Boehly wants to move quickly in negotiations in order to “avoid problems.”

Tuchel wants two wingers this summer, therefore the co-owner of the Los Angeles Dodgers is planning a second bid for Raheem Sterling.
