Chelsea star on the verge of shock Arsenal move? Pundit makes big advice to Arteta
Kevin Campbell has told Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and his assistant Edu that Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi would be a “incredible” signing this summer.
The former Arsenal and Everton striker told Football Insider exclusively that the 21-year-old has “gone under the radar” at Stamford Bridge recently.
This comes as the Gunners look to bring in an offensive player, while a deal for Wolves winger Pedro Neto appears unlikely.
If the Gunners are desperate for a winger, a move for Chelsea’s winger is not out of the question, especially since Nicolas Pepe is set to leave on loan.
“Hudson-Odoi has kind of gone under the radar for whatever reason,” he told Football Insider.
“Thomas Tuchel probably does not fancy him anymore.
“This is the top part of football. If he want to play he is not going to play a lot at Arsenal either. That’s the thing. It is a difficult one.
“He would be part of the squad and he would get game time but he would not be a starter. If he wants to be starting regularly, Arsenal isn’t the place.
“I like him as a player. He has incredible ability and can play on the left and right side. I cannot see it happening though, if I’m honest.”
