Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy has attacked the Chelsea former coach Frank Lampard. The former defender claims he finds it difficult to comprehend why it took too long for the club to sack Frank Lampard. He feels Chelsea could be flying should they have sacked Lampard earlier.
Chelsea currently is enjoying good performance under their new coach Thomas Tuchel with their latest performance being a 1-0 win away over a defensive Atletico Madrid in the champions league on Tuesday.
Thomas Tuchel is currently enjoying an unbeaten run of 8 games in all competitions something that has impressed Cundy. Cundy claims that Chelsea under Tuchel is defensively far solid and doesn’t seem like conceding easily with every single attack.
Cundy was quick to spot out how the new coach has revolutionized Callum Hudson-Odoi at his new right-wing back noting that the winger has never played at this position before.

Also to note is the revival of Marcos Alonso from the cold whose last involvement under Frank Lampard was away in a 3-3 comeback draw against WestBrom back in September.
It is clear that the blues seemed to have run short of ideas under Frank Lampard and this was evident by Chelsea’s underperformance. Under Tuchel, Chelsea has just conceded two goals in eight matches, winning six and managing two draws without any loss, a statistic that indicates it was a mistake allowing Frank Lampard to continue to underperform for so long.
Chelsea big test is looming as they meet stubborn second-placed manchester united at Stamford bridge. Ole Gunner men have enjoyed great performance away from home. Tuchel will be without his experienced centre back Thiago Silva who also missed a champions league match with Atletico Madrid following an injury suffered during a 1-0 win over Tottenham hotspurs earlier in February.
However, Former Manunited Player Paul Scholes feels like Frank Lampard was denied a chance of handling his project, unlike his manchester united Couynterpart who has done commendable work since he also had his time when he was underperforming.
