The £288 million ($347 million) that Chelsea owner Todd Boehly spent on new players during the January transfer window surpassed the £270 million spent in the summer.

Enzo Fernandez, the Argentine World Cup champion who was acquired from Benfica for £107 million to bolster Chelsea’s midfield, was the club’s most significant acquisition.

January saw the addition of Mykhailo Mudryk, Benoit Badiashile, Noni Maduake, and Joao Felix on loan, among others.

According to capology.com, Raheem Sterling is the highest-paid player at Chelsea with a weekly salary of £325,000, or £16.9 million annually. This places him ahead of fellow summer signings Kalidou Koulibaly and N’Golo Kante.
