Chelsea player is so popular rival players fight amongst themselves to get his shirt
Enzo Fernandez, a prominent player from Chelsea, is highly regarded by others as demonstrated when members of the opposing team fought over his shirt after a match against Panama.
The incident was captured on camera, showing multiple Panama players surrounding Fernandez and attempting to acquire his shirt after the match ended.
Despite the chaos, Fernandez maintained a polite smile while observing the Panama players arguing, eventually resorting to a game of rock, paper, scissors to determine who would receive the coveted item.
Even after the match, the Panama team remained in awe of the Argentina players, as they exchanged hugs and greetings.
In particular, defender Ivan Anderson requested Lionel Messi to autograph his shirt.
Messi had also scored a goal in the game, after Thiago Almada’s initial opener, leading the reigning World Cup champions to a comfortable victory in their first match since securing their third World Cup triumph.
Upon their return to Buenos Aires, a massive crowd of more than 80,000 fans welcomed the squad back home at the Estadio Monumental.
The players were presented with replicas of the World Cup trophy as a reward for their victory, with Lionel Messi later lifting the genuine trophy to the delight of the ecstatic fans.
Enzo Fernandez has rapidly become a prominent figure over the last year, thanks to his impressive performances in Qatar. He played in all seven of Argentina’s matches en route to their championship title, and even scored a goal as a substitute in their triumph against Mexico.

Enzo Fernandez’s impressive displays at the tournament caught the attention of Chelsea, who broke the British transfer record by signing him from Benfica for a fee of around £106million in January. Since then, he has played in nine matches for Chelsea, contributing two assists from his midfield position.
In addition, fans have noticed that he wears a pendant inspired by the World Cup around his neck before matches, a tribute to his achievement as a world champion with Argentina.
