Chelsea owner Todd Boehly’s reaction to goalless draw against Fulham goes viral
The reaction of Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly to Friday night’s drab draw against Fulham has gone viral.
The American billionaire was captured on camera watching from the stands as Graham Potter’s team and the Cottagers fought to a goalless draw.
In the past few months, Chelsea co-owner and Clearlake Capital invested an unprecedented £600 million in the club.
Since taking over from Roman Abramovich in May, the new Chelsea ownership led by Boehly has twice in a matter of months broken the single-window spending record for a club. The West London giants have struggled this season despite their massive transfer market expenditures.
In the 81st minute of the Fulham game, Boehly appeared irritated in the directors’ box, and this was captured on camera.

It is understandable why Boehly appeared so despondent, as the West Londoners have failed to produce results despite spending so much money.
Chelsea’s club record as well as British record signing Enzo Fernandez made an impressive debut for the London giants.
The World Cup-winning midfielder, who was acquired by the Blues on the final day of the transfer window for £107 million, excelled in a deeper role.
The 22-year- old’s excellent tackling and exquisite passing caught the eye, and he already appears to be a solid investment. Kepa Arrizabalaga, Conor Gallagher, and the central-defensive duo of Thiago Silva and Benoit Badiashile performed admirably for Graham Potter’s squad.
However, the remaining players performed poorly as Marco Silva’s squad earned a well-deserved draw at Stamford Bridge. The trio of Kai Havertz, Mykhaylo Mudryk, and Hakim Ziyech were ineffective to the point that Mudryk was substituted at halftime.
