Chelsea make transfer promise to Endrick as Palmeiras set huge transfer fee

Endrick has been assured by Chelsea that he would have a position in the first team when he joins the club, as the Blues attempt to beat out Real Madrid and PSG for his signing.

The 16-year-old Palmeiras youngster has scored three goals in just six premier league outings, registering a goal or assist per 61 minutes. He has been branded “the next Neymar” after helping his team win the Brazilian title.

Real Madrid has long been regarded the leader due to their well-established recruitment network in South America, which has allowed players like as Federico Valverde and Vinicius Junior to join the club as teens.

In recent weeks, Chelsea have intensified their charm offensive and brought Endrick’s family to their Cobham training facility in an effort to secure his services.

Thiago Silva tried to sell the club to the young forward’s family, and the great Brazilian captain is reported to have seen Endrick in person.

Now, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano asserts that Chelsea made a commitment to Endrick’s family during a recent meeting in which the west London club assured them that Endrick will be fast-tracked into the first team upon his eventual arrival.

Once he becomes 18, he cannot officially sign with a club until early 2023, and a relocation to Europe must wait an additional year.

By then, though, Chelsea anticipates that he will have firmly established himself at Palmeiras, gaining a wealth of experience along the way, and will be ready to join the first-team group at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues informed Endrick’s entourage that they see him as one of the most promising young footballers in the world and that he will be a “important” player when he joins the club in 2024.

Before picking which club to join, Endrick’s family will assess a variety of criteria, with a clear pathway and growth plan among them.

Whoever wants to sign the teenager will also have to pay a hefty transfer fee, since Palmeiras have placed his release clause at €60million (£52.5m).

Nonetheless, the Brazilian side will let this package to contain addenda and conditions.

Recently, Douglas, Endrick’s father, spoke on negotiations: “There’s nothing decided for Real Madrid or any other club. We’ve no preference yet.

“We’ll decide in the next months, the club that will pay what Palmeiras want and show us the best technical project for Endrick, will sign the boy.”
