Chelsea injured duo hand Thomas Tuchel and Chelsea huge Champions League final boost.

The Blues were sweating over the shape of both N’Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy after both sustained injuries ahead of the Champions League final.
However, Chelsea have been given a double injury boost ahead of the Champions League final as both N’Golo Kante and Edouard Mendy entered the training according to reports from football.london.
Kante missed the weekend loss to Aston Villa with a hamstring problem nursed in the victory against Leicester City. The 30-year-old Frenchman was brought off in the first half of the triumph over the Foxes, although Thomas Tuchel did emphasize the injury wasn’t severe.
Eduord Mendy, meanwhile, was replaced at halftime of Sunday’s defeat at Villa Park. The Senegal international hurt his ribs on the frame of the goal while trying to deny Bertrand Traore’s 43rd-minute opener.

When addressing at a press conference on Monday, Tuchel said he hoped to have the duo back in practice as Chelsea prepare for the final against Man City in Porto on Saturday.
“With N’Golo nothing has changed,” Tuchel said. “I think about changing my tactics now and stop asking about N’Golo.
“I’ll just put him on the pitch in Wednesday training and don’t ask anymore. If there are any problems we will just put him in training and put him on the pitch when the game starts on Saturday.
“Maybe I won’t start to the doctors and physios so I don’t hear doubts or complaints or nothing. Maybe I have to think about the tactics. It looks good and I hope it stays like this.”
On Mendy, Tuchel added: “The latest update is we still have hope that he joins training on Wednesday, that he joins the group.
“He has made a huge improvement in his management of pain and so we need further updates on Wednesday. We hope to have him back then.”
