Chelsea handed yet another major Raphinha blow as Deco in talks to help European giant secure late steal
Raphinha’s agent, Deco, is said to be in contact with Leeds United in order to help his client join Barcelona this summer.
The revelation comes just one day after Fabrizio Romano revealed that Chelsea had reached an agreement with the Yorkshire club over a prospective transfer.
Meanwhile, Arsenal is the only other team that has made a proposal. The Gunners, on the other hand, have been rejected on each occasion, falling short of the valuation.
Raphinha’s ideal destination, on the other hand, is Barcelona.
Barcelona is now in the running to sign the 25-year-old, according to Gerard Romero.
Despite Chelsea’s deal with Leeds, he believes the team has a “high chance” of signing the player due to the strength of Deco’s influence and the player’s ambition.
Deco is thought to be in talks with the club in order to assist his client in successfully transitioning to La Liga this summer.
It remains to be seen whether Barcelona’s interest in Raphinha influences Chelsea’s pursuit of Ousmane Dembele.
