Chelsea plan Tammy Abraham swap to decrease Erling Haaland price tag

According to the Transfer Window Podcast (h/t Express), Chelsea are contemplating offering Tammy Abraham to Borussia Dortmund in a bid to bring down the value tag of Erling Haaland.

It is no puzzle that Chelsea are hot in race of Haaland this summer. The Blues are set on adding a proven goalscorer to the ranks after last season saw Jorginho finish as the club’s top scorer in the Premier League – despite him not scoring even once from open play.

Norwegian would be a fantastic signing for Chelsea. However, the German giants have no intentions of letting him leave and will only consider such a move should an offer around the £150m mark come along.

Chelsea, though, are reluctant to match that figure, as per the report. The Blues are open to offering up to £60m in cash for Haaland and instead are hoping to bring the price tag down by offering Abraham as part of the deal for the young striker.

Chelsea favourites to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa

According to shock transfer revelation Spanish publication Fichajes (h/t Birmingham Live), Chelsea have joined the race for Aston Villa skipper Jack Grealish and could even be favourites to land him this summer.

Manchester City and Manchester United holding a long-standing interest in the Aston Villa skipper. However, it is now being claimed that Chelsea, too, have joined in the race for Grealish this summer. (h/t Birmingham Live)

Chelsea’s interest in Grealish does come off as a bit shocking pending the number of players that Thomas Tuchel already has at his disposal who play in similar positions. Indeed, the Blues can call upon Hakim Ziyech, Mason Mount, Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz while even Timo Werner has also been used as an attacking midfielder in the 3-4-2-1 at times.

However, Ziyech has been associated with a move away from Stamford Bridge after what was a rather underwhelming debut season. (h/t Daily Star) This could open up a space for Grealish within the ranks at the Bridge next summer.

Lazio eyes loan deal for Chelsea’s Loftus-Cheek.

Recently a report emerged that the 25-year-old is one of two Chelsea players that Sarri would like for the Rome-based club to track. The other would be goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Italian club is working on a loan agreement for Loftus-Cheek. The Italian media outlet states that the Chelsea fugitive would have a €3.5-million salary should a loan occur.

The midfielder had some possible while with The Blues but has slowly seen himself fall out of favor. As a result, Loftus-Cheek went on loan to Fulham. However, with the club going down to The Championship, Chelsea would need to find him a new home.

Sarri seems to think highly of the player, and with Loftus-Cheek not in Chelsea’s plans, it could be a deal that Lazio can secure.

Carlo Ancelotti keen for Real Madrid to sign Timo Werner.

New Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti is reportedly keen for the Spanish giants to move for Chelsea’s Timo Werner during this summer’s transfer window.

Werner had a diverse first season at Stamford Bridge, scoring 12 times and adding 15 assists in 52 appearances in all competitions following a move from RB Leipzig.

The Germany international only managed six Premier League goals, though, and Chelsea are believed to be keen to bring a new centre-forward to the club in the current market.

According to Fichajes, the incoming Real Madrid manager is a large fan of Werner and has asked the club to trail a move for the attacker ahead of next season.

The report alleges that moving for the German was one of three requests made by Ancelotti, who also wants Lyon’s Houssem Aouar, while the Italian is believed to want to keep Gareth Bale.

Werner – currently with the Germany squad at Euro 2020 – still has more than four years left to run on his deal with Thomas Tuchel’s side.

Chelsea have “offers” to Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.

According to an update from Zahavi, err… AS, it is not just Real Madrid who has put in an proposal for Lewandowski. Champions League winner Chelsea in addition to Paris Saint-Germain, and Manchester United to the list of clubs who have put down offers for the Polish Hitman.

But the reality of the player’s interest in changing the scene puts him fairly in the plans of some of the main teams on the continent, and even makes him the hero of future linked movements.

Lewandowski currently has offers from several top teams. PSG is looking for a guaranteed striker. Like United (after Cavani) and City (after Agüero) . And even Chelsea, current Champions of the Champions despite the little success shown by Werner.

AC Milan are continuing their pursuit of Chelsea FC striker despite the London based club triggering the renewal.

Gianluca di Marzio via MilanNews.it is reporting that AC Milan are advancing their chase of Chelsea FC striker Olivier Giroud despite the London based club triggering the renewal of the player’s contract.

Milan were looking to sign the veteran France international on a free transfer and this remains the goal but a small fee is a feasibility.

The agents of the player verified that he can leave for free as the renewal was to ensure he does not sign for another Premier League side for free.

Milan have an agreement with Giroud on a two year contract worth 3.5 million euros per year. The hope for Milan is for the player and Chelsea to reciprocally terminate to facilitate the move.

MilanNews.it are reporting that Milan will only make the signing of the 34 year old former Arsenal and Montpellier striker if he can exit by mutual consent. Milan will not pay a fee for the striker.
