Real Madrid’s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is coming back to Stamford Bridge in the upcoming Champions League clash. However, some Chelsea fans are angered with Real Madrid star’s comments with some fans taking on Twitter to show their anger.
Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea overcame Porto to book Champions League semi-final spot, while Madrid finished booked their place after holding Liverpool to a barren draw on Wednesday night in the quarter-finals of Europe’s elite club competition following their crucial 3-1 win at Spain.
The two teams are scheduled to square it out in Spain on 27 April for the first leg of the semi-final, with the return fixture at Stamford Bridge scheduled for 4 May.
The clash could witness an emotional return for club legend Eden Hazard on the cards, as well as a reunion with another former goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
It Belgian goalkeeper Courtois, 28, claims that he’s disappointed that fans won’t be there on his return that has made Chelsea fans mad.

As quoted by beIN SPORTS, Courtois said:
“It will be very nice to see a lot of familiar faces and I wish there was public at Stamford Bridge because there was a lot of happy moments I had there, even though maybe my departure wasn’t in the best way, or it was put that way, that it wasn’t the best way, but I only have good memories,”
In a dramatic twist, a section of Chelsea supporters on social media say that Courtois is lucky that there won’t be a full Stamford Bridge crowd to welcome him back, and believe is a reason why he’s got a nerve with his comments.
It is clear that many Chelsea fans are still raging about the manner of his Courtois exit in 2018, and it is r certainly that the Belgiun is not yet forgiven.
