Chelsea can nurture aspirations of establishing a long-term reign in the Premier League thanks to the acquisition of promising young talents.

Todd Boehly has invested significantly in a number of highly talented young players during his £1 billion spending spree.

Mauricio Pochettino has orchestrated a significant transformation at Chelsea during this summer transfer window. A substantial number of well-known players have left the club, making way for a wave of new arrivals.

Pochettino’s primary emphasis has been on the recruitment of emerging talents, and this trend appears likely to continue, even though the English transfer window has closed just last week.

According to the Spanish outlet Sport, Chelsea is on the verge of outpacing Barcelona to secure the signing of the Brazilian prodigy Gabriel Moscardo in the upcoming days.

Sportsdias is also examining seven other emerging talents currently at Stamford Bridge who have the potential to make a significant impact in the Premier League over the next few seasons.

Kendry Paez:

In June, Chelsea secured the services of 16-year-old midfielder Kendry Paez for a fee slightly exceeding £17 million. The Ecuadorian talent will continue playing for Independiente del Valle until he reaches the age of 18 in May 2025.

Deivid Washington:

Last month, Chelsea officially announced the acquisition of Brazilian forward Deivid Washington. The 18-year-old made his debut as an unused substitute in Saturday’s 1-0 home loss to Nottingham Forest.

Angelo Gabriel:

Angelo, another promising Brazilian talent, made his move to Chelsea from Santos in July. At the age of 18, the winger participated in a few pre-season friendly matches for the Blues. However, he has since been loaned to Strasbourg, where he has made three appearances as a substitute.

Diego Moreira:

In July, Chelsea secured the signing of Portuguese young talent Diego Moreira. He made his debut for the club in a Carabao Cup match against AFC Wimbledon, where he was substituted at half-time. Subsequently, he swiftly embarked on a loan spell with Lyon for the remainder of the season.

Andrey Santos:

Chelsea brought in Brazilian midfielder Andrey Santos in January, but he had to wait until June to obtain a work permit. The 19-year-old showcased his abilities during the pre-season, and he aims to gain Premier League experience through a loan spell at Nottingham Forest this season.

Gabriel Slonina:

The young American goalkeeper, Gabriel Slonina, became a Chelsea player in August 2022. However, he was immediately loaned back to the Chicago Fire. Currently, he is gaining his initial experience in European football through a loan stint with Eupen in Belgium.

David Datro Fofana:

Ivory Coast striker David Datro Fofana made the move to Chelsea in January from the Norwegian club Molde. He made four appearances for Chelsea last season but is currently on loan at Union Berlin for the current campaign. However, he has yet to score in his four appearances for the German side.
