Bukayo Saka reveals how Arsenal player reportedly linked to exit is important o the dressing room.
Bukayo Saka has gushed about his Arsenal teammate Pierre‑Emerick Aubameyang in The Guardian.
The Arsenal winger has stated that Aubameyang is a vital player in the dressing room.
The England international made the remarks about Aubameyang while pondering on how he got the nickname‘petit piment’ or ‘little chili’.
This comes after the Telegraph reported this month that there are murmurs that Arsenal could trade the 31-year-old Gabon international striker.
Saka told The Guardian:
“I’m grateful, I love it (a gift from Aubameyang – a chain featuring a red chilli with a silver stem and his surname embossed in silver block capitals on it), it’s unique.
“It’s a show of how great a character Auba is, how important he is for me and, I’d say, for the team in terms of the happiness and the vibes in the dressing room.”

Aubameyang did not have a great season in 2020-21 after Arsenal registered a frustrating campaign that saw them miss out in the European competition for the first time in over 20 years.
The former Borussia Dortmund forward scored just 10 goals and gave three assists in the Premier League.
Aubameyang also scored three goals and gave one assist in the Europa League this past campaign.
It is fairly reasonable to point out that Aubameyang is 31, and that he is on a huge salary.
However, Aubameyang is a very skilled striker and is a proven goalscorer.
One bad season does not suggest that the 31-year-old striker is finished.
As Saka points out, Aubameyang is a key figure in the dressing room who holds the Arsenal players’ spirits up.
