Bruno Fernandes tries to drive Arsenal’s target to Old Trafford after Arsenal talks.

According to 90Min, Bruno Fernandes has suggested Ruben Neves to Manchester United amid talks with Arsenal.

It’s alleged that Wolverhampton Wanderers plan to sell both Neves and winger Adama Traore to raise funds for new boss Bruno Lage.

Arsenal have been favorites to land Neves, but United are presently interested – and international teammate Fernandes has now supported a move.

Reports broke last week of Arsenal’s interest in Neves, as the Gunners seem to sign him as a replacement for departing Granit Xhaka.

The Daily Mail reported just a matter of days ago that Wolves are expecting a bid from Arsenal have held preliminary talks over a deal.

Wolves are soliciting a fee of around £41million, the same fee they docked for Diogo Jota when they sold him to Liverpool in 2020.

United do need to get another central midfielder, and a ball-player like Neves may fit well alongside the athletic skill of Scott McTominay whilst having that relationship with Fernandes.

The Red Devils do though have other midfield prospects, and Arsenal’s need is a little more urgent given Xhaka’s impending exit and the departure of Dani Ceballos.

United have Champions League football though, and if they take Fernandes’ recommendation menacingly, they could become favorites.
