Brentford manager Thomas Frank makes PL title prediction after denting Arsenal’s hopes

Thomas Frank believes that Arsenal can still win the Premier League title despite Brentford holding them to a draw in their recent match.

Brentford’s Ivan Toney earned his team a well-deserved point in North London after Leandro Trossard scored for the hosts.

This was only the second time that Arsenal had dropped points at home this season.

However, their inability to secure the three points against Brentford marked the first time this season that Arsenal had failed to win consecutive Premier League matches, following their loss to Everton.

With a visit from Manchester City coming up this week, this is a concerning time for Arsenal to lose form.

Despite Arsenal’s recent dip in form, Brentford manager Thomas Frank remains confident that the Gunners will go on to win the Premier League title this season.

Frank praised his team’s performance in their 1-1 draw against Arsenal, where they earned a well-deserved point, and noted that the Gunners are still favorites to lift the trophy for the first time in 19 years.

He stated in a post-match press conference that “They’re favorites to win the title and I think they will.”

Frank’s belief in Arsenal’s title chances came as a surprise, but his words show his pride in his team’s performance, who dominated for much of the match and created more goal-scoring opportunities than the Gunners.

“I just said to the boys, wow!” Frank added when describing his side’s showing. “We are not allowed to celebrate one point because of course we want to win but we can celebrate the performance and that was one of the best.

“I know we went 1-0 down, a great goal from them. But the coolness and braveness to come back against Arsenal, who were running through a brick wall to try and keep the lead.”

Frank continued, when asking if Brentford could have won the game: “I think so. If you look at the big chances in the game we could have won. It is insane Brentford is 10 games unbeaten in the Premier League and against some decent sides. It is incredible work from the players and staff and everyone around the club. This is a proud moment.”

The result extends Brentford’s unbeaten streak in the Premier League to ten matches, dating back to October, and maintains their hopes of qualifying for European football for the first time ever.
