Manchester City have been dealt a setback in their hunt for one of English football’s top talents, as Aston Villa player Jack Grealish is proclaimed to be off the market.

New reports out of England have asserted that the Man City would be intent on a contract for Jack Grealish if they can move on some current Manchester City players that play in the same spot.

However, according to Ashley Preece for Birmingham Live, the Aston Villa forward will not be for sale at any cost. Some proposals have been made that City could look to dive in for a deal worth up to £100 million. Although it now seems that the 25-year-old will remain at Villa Park for the 2021/22 period.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has spoken of his respect for Grealish, however, there is perceived to be nothing more in it.

Fresh reports have alleged that Tottenham striker Harry Kane will be the club’s top target, with a deal over £100 million on the cards.

There is also a likelihood of Pep Guardiola consenting to a player plus cash settlement for the Tottenham striker, with the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Nathan Ake, and Raheem Sterling all being considered as potential suitors to be sent to North London.

However, there is currently no evidence that either of the three players above would be veered to make a wish to move to Tottenham public.
