Basketball superstar LeBron is now a partner at Liverpool FC owners.

The 36 years old basketball superstar LeBron increased his stake in Liverpool after he became a partner with American ownership group Fenway. LeBron had a two percent stake in Liverpool since 2011 which he acquired at £4.7m.

FSG group acquired Liverpool FC in 2010 under the name England Sports Ventures from previous American owners Tom Hicks George Gillet.

The 17 times NBA All-Star Basketball superstar LeBron is ambitious of owning an NBA team one day with the League rules forbidding an active player to own an NBA team.

James is the fifth-highest paid athlete in the 2020 ranking with his earnings standing at $88m. Forbes estimates his net worth value to around $450m.

LeBron is now the third-largest shareholder in Fenway Sports Group after the pair approved his £540m investment from RedBird Capital.
