Arteta set for talks with six first-team stars over departing the club this summer.
Arsenal are set to hold talks with six first-team members over their Emirates Stadium futures, according to the Evening Standard.
Mikel Arteta is carrying out a comprehensive rebuild of his squad after an underwhelming period in north London. The Gunners want to sign Brighton defender Ben White and Anderlecht midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga as part of their summer overhaul.
Bids of £40million and £13m apiece have been knocked back, but Arsenal are working on proceedings and remains very keen. There is also interest in Aaron Ramsdale, but they will only move for the Sheffield United goalkeeper if Bernd Leno departs.
Leno is among the six Arsenal members set for talks with the club over their futures in north London. The German is open to leaving and taking on a new challenge, which would leave Arteta without a first-choice shot-stopper.
Defender Calum Chambers plus midfielders Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Joe Willock have talks scheduled. While strikers Eddie Nketiah and Alexandre Lacazette face doubt over their future chances, as well.
Arsenal will likely tell both Maitland-Niles and Nketiah they can look for new clubs in the summer window. The Gunners are also attending to offers for Sead Kolasinac, Matteo Guendouzi, and Lucas Torreira.

Willock showed what he can offer by becoming the youngest top-flight player to score in seven straight games while at Newcastle. And he, plus Chambers, may be worth keeping with Arteta touched by the defender.
