Arsenal continues to show interest in the 29-year-old player, who won’t be joining Bayern Munich once his loan period concludes. However, it seems likely that he will depart Manchester City in the summer as he has fallen out of favor with Pep Guardiola.

Declan Rice
There have been numerous reports suggesting that the West Ham captain might make a move across London, and Arsenal seems to be the frontrunners in securing Rice’s services.
Rice’s strong leadership qualities, combined with his defensive intelligence and technical skills, would make him an excellent upgrade over the departing Xhaka.
Acquiring Rice may come at a significant cost, but given his Premier League experience and the widespread recognition of his talent, even at the young age of 24, he is already regarded as one of the top midfielders in the league.
With Arteta as his coach, Rice has the potential to elevate Arsenal’s midfield to one of the strongest in the Premier League.
Moises Caicedo
Indeed, if Arsenal were to also secure the signing of Caicedo, it would undoubtedly strengthen their midfield significantly. The 21-year-old is highly coveted in the league, and his impressive defensive skills and passing abilities, which earned him a Young Player of the Season nomination, have garnered attention.
There were previous reports of Caicedo being close to joining Arsenal in January, and it appears that the Gunners are once again interested in acquiring the Ecuadorian talent in the upcoming summer transfer window.
If Caicedo were to be recruited and paired with Rice as the two holding midfielders, it would provide captain Martin Odegaard with the freedom to focus on attacking. This trio of midfielders would be a formidable combination for Arsenal.
Tammy Abraham
The extended absence of Gabriel Jesus after the World Cup was a significant setback for Arsenal. Even when he was in the team, his goal-scoring record in the league was relatively modest, with only 11 goals to his name.
The contribution of Eddie Nketiah, with just four goals, was not what one would typically expect from a title-contending team. This has led to speculation that Arsenal may seek to sign a new forward.
The Mirror has highlighted Roma’s Tammy Abraham as a potential target, with The Telegraph reporting that Roma may sell him in the summer to comply with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.
Arsenal has previously been linked with Abraham, and although his tally of eight goals in Serie A this season is not particularly impressive, he had a standout performance the previous year, scoring 17 times.
Abraham also demonstrated his effectiveness as a leading striker during Frank Lampard’s tenure at Chelsea, scoring 15 league goals in the 2019/20 season, including a decisive goal against Arsenal.
Bringing in Abraham would provide a different option compared to Gabriel Jesus, and he could be a valuable asset coming off the bench for Arsenal.
