Arsenal’s last 4 Premier League matches compared to Tottenham, Chelsea, and Man Utd
Arsenal won their third Premier League game in a row on Sunday afternoon, defeating West Ham United 2-1 at the London Stadium.
Goals scored by centre-backs Mikel Arteta’s side regained fourth place from Tottenham Hotspur, who had beaten Leicester City earlier in the day, thanks to Rob Holding and Gabriel Magalhaes.
However, with four games remaining in this season’s Premier League season, a place in next season’s UEFA Champions League is far from guaranteed.
So, with that in mind, Sports Dias compares Arsenal’s next four games to those of Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, and Chelsea, all of whom are vying for a spot in the top four.
Leeds (H) – Sunday, May 8
Arsenal’s penultimate home game is against Jesse Marsch’s Leeds United, who are in a relegation battle alongside Burnley and Everton.
The Yorkshire club is presently two points ahead of the Toffees, who are in 18th place.
Frank Lampard’s side, on the other hand, have a game in hand on Leeds.
Tottenham (A) – Thursday, May 12
The north London derby, which takes place on a Thursday night in N17, could be one of the most exciting games in recent memory. Antonio Conte’s first game in charge of Tottenham Hotspur will be against Arsenal.
Back in September, when Nuno Espirito Santo was in charge, the Gunners dominated, winning 3-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
Newcastle United (A) – Monday, May 16
Arsenal’s final away game of the season will be against Newcastle United, a team they have beaten eight times in a row in all competitions. The Magpies, on the other hand, have been in excellent form recently, so Mikel Arteta and co will not be taken lightly.
Everton (H) – Sunday, May 22
The aforementioned Toffees will be anxious to keep their Premier League status, and given that they have won each of their past three encounters with Arsenal, they will be confident when they travel to north London on the final day of the season.
