Arsenal are planning a fresh offer for Joaquin Correa that could include Lucas Torreira after seeing an opening £17m bid declined by Lazio, according to reports via the Mirror.

It seems the London giants have formalized their business as the Mirror are now quoting a report from Il Messaggero that maintains Arsenal tabled an opening £17m bid for Correa but the offer has already been knocked back by Lazio.
However, the Italian outlet suggests that Arsenal are ready to go back in with a fresh offer that would include Torreira as part of a player-plus-cash swap deal in exchange for Correa’s signature.
Arsenal are said to be keen to sign Everton’s Dominic Calvert-Lewin by the Telegraph.
Arsenal are on the quest for a new forward and Calvert-Lewin is now understood to be on Mikel Arteta’s side’s radar.
Of course, for Arsenal to afford any transfer they would probably have to raise notable funds from player sales this summer.
Jamie Carragher went as far as to assert on TalkSPORT that he now considers Calvert-Lewin to be the third best striker in the Premier League.
Calvert-Lewin’s aerial intelligence would offer Arsenal a new threat up-front.
But The Sun say that Everton value the forward at around £50 million, which would make him a very expensive purchase for the Gunners.

The Gunners want to refurbish their squad this summer after they finished last season outside the European places.
They aspire to make the top four at the end of next season and have plans to make some quality additions to the squad.
Signing the England captain would be expensive and the report says they are prepared to cash in on some of their players to make it happen.
Sterling and Mahrez have now appeared as targets for Arsenal with the Gunners looking to sign players that will instantly bring results.
The report adds that both players want to remain at the Manchester club and will hold talks with their current employers about their future.
If City emphasizes on selling them, Arsenal will likely face even more competition for their signature.

Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac is pleased to join Fenerbahce and the Turkish titans are looking for him to end his contract in north London.
He has a potential option in Turkey and, according to Turkish daily Takvim, has told Fenerbahce he would be happy to join the club.
The defender is ready to move to Fenerbahce and his agents are examining a possible switch to Istanbul.
The full-back, who has a year remaining on his deal with the Gunners, is looking to terminate his contract at Arsenal, which would make him a free agent.
