Arsenal Star admires Unai Emery for conquering Manchester United by
‘You Are So Unique’ praises.
Arsenal star Matteo Guendouzi has squandered approval on former Arsenal manager Unai Emery for winning his fourth Europa League, defeating Manchester United with his Villarreal side, and emphasized that it was a pleasure for him to work under the Spaniard at the Emirates.
Emery contrived Manchester United’s destruction and led his Villarreal side to the Europa League crown on Wednesday night in Gdansk via a penalty shootout win.
It was the Spaniard’s fourth Europa League cup and the only European final he lost was when he was Arsenal boss.
Emery was not one of the most successful figures when Arsenal fired him in 2019, but it seems some of his past players still hold him in high esteem.
Guendouzi piled cheers on his former Arsenal manager for helping a club such as Villarreal to fulfill their dream of winning a European trophy.

He acknowledges that he feels gratified that he got the chance to work under Emery when he was at Arsenal and learn from the Spaniard.
The Frenchman took to Twitter and wrote:
“What a journey! This Football… so smart and elegant!
“You made the dream of an entire city, of a club, a team, and of all the fans come true! You did it! You know how to win trophies! Hats off Monsieur Emery.
“You are so unique.
“I am honoured and proud to have had the opportunity to evolve by your side.
“Words will never be strong enough to qualify your personality, your benevolence and your authenticity in human relationships.
“All my congratulations coach Unai Emery and bravo to Villarreal.”
Guendouzi had a fallout with Emery’s replacement in Mikel Arteta and was frozen out of the team before being loaned to Hertha Berlin.
