Arsenal Premier League squad confirmed as Saka and Saliba absence explained

Arsenal’s entire Premier League squad for the second half of the season has been confirmed as they look to make history by winning the Premier League championship.

The Gunners are leading the league halfway through the season, having also impressed many with their play.

Despite their large lead over second-place Manchester City in terms of points, they have a long way to go. There are still many plot twists remaining.

January provided the perfect opportunity to strengthen the team’s depth for the upcoming challenge by adding three new players.

Leandro Trossard’s £21 million transfer from Brighton was followed shortly by Jakub Kiwior’s transfer from Spezia.

Jorginho made a transfer from Chelsea to north London rivals  on the final day of the transfer window in order to bolster  the Gunners.

As expected, all three are included in the final Premier League squad of 25 players, making them eligible to play for the remainder of the season.

However, many may have noticed two notable omissions from the final 25-man roster: Bukayo Saka and William Saliba.

The duo has been indispensable this season, prompting many to question why they are not included in the registered squad.

This is because they are considered to be under-21 players, allowing them to participate in the squad without being on the main list of registered senior players, thereby freeing up a spot.

This is a trick that the Gunners won’t be able to pull off in the next year, but it has allowed them to add more players to the squad for the time being.
