Arsenal on the brink of losing exceptional players to Premier League rivals.

According to The Telegraph, Aston Villa are engaged in signing Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe this season.
It’s alleged that Arsenal wants Smith Rowe tied down to a long-term commitment soon, but they have yet to enter an agreement with the playmaker.
Aston Villa want to sign a playmaker this summer and are now peering into a daring move for Smith Rowe in case Arsenal doesn’t persuade him to stay.
Villa are also eyeing Norwich City’s Emiliano Buendia in quest of more creativity, but Arsenal are discussing a move for him according to the Daily Mail.
This manifests an interesting scenario; Villa could sign Buendia and leave Smith Rowe at Arsenal, or Villa could end up clasping up Smith Rowe with Arsenal unattached to grab Buendia.
Eventually though, losing Smith Rowe would be a setback for Arsenal, given that he is a homegrown talent who instantly boosted the Gunners’ form when he came into the team.

Smith has just over two years remaining on his current contract with the north London club, but following some fine form after emerging into Mikel Arteta’s first team in the second half of the 2020/21 campaign, he looks to have drawn some admirers.
Himself and fellow Hale End graduate Bukayo Saka were the brilliant sparks in what was an immensely frustrating season for Arsenal.
“I can’t really describe the feeling, to be honest,” Smith Rowe said on Arsenal’s official YouTube channel back in February.
“Being an Arsenal fan from such a young age, getting an opportunity to help put on the Arsenal shirt and step out on that pitch, there’s really no better feeling for me.”
The Gunners are preparing on an extensive squad overhaul in the coming months, with several players set to arrive at the Emirates, as well as leave following an underwhelming campaign.
