Alan Hutton characterized Mikel Arteta’s acquisition of Jorginho as a smart move.
Arsenal acquired Leandro Trossard, Jakub Kiwior, and Jorginho during the January transfer window.
The former Tottenham and Aston Villa defender told Football Insider that although Jorginho does not appear to be an Arsenal signing at first glance, he will eventually prove his worth.
Hutton suggested that the signing is not as peculiar as one might believe.

Arsenal brought in Leandro Trossard, Jakub Kiwior and Jorginho this January winter transfer window.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa defender said that although at first glance Jorginho doesn’t appear to be an Arsenal signing, he will inevitably come good.
Hutton suggested the signing is not as strange as people might think.
“I think Chelsea are just in a world of their own at this moment in time,” he told Football Insider.
“The amount of players that they are bringing in, you have to shift players out. You can’t just retain those sorts of numbers, especially when they are that level of football player you have to move them on.
“So I think it is a good move for Arsenal, I think it is an intelligent one. Even though at first glance he might not fit into their way of playing, I think there will come a time where he will be needed.
“Later on in the season, he is cool with the ball and that could be something that they could need later on because he has got that experience.“
