Arsenal fans in meltdown following Mesut Ozil’s’secret’ Newcastle transfer message
Arsenal fans have gone into a frenzy after Mesut Ozil’s four-word tweet sparked Newcastle transfer rumors.
Despite the fact that the tweet is expected to be related to the German international’s foray into the Cypto Currency market, Arsenal fans believe he could be on his way to the Magpies.
The recent takeover on Tyneside has sparked a flurry of transfer rumors, with Newcastle United now the richest club in the world.
Raheem Sterling, Philippe Coutinho, and Aaron Ramsey have all been linked with a January move to Tyneside, and Gunners fans believe Ozil could be the club’s first big name signing.
“Exciting things coming soon,” wrote Ozil on Twitter.
While there has been no evidence that Ozil is on Newcastle’s wish list, aside from Arsenal fans’ tweets, it hasn’t stopped fellow Newcastle fans from taking to social media.
