Arsenal are keeping a close eye on Serge Gnabry’s contract situation at Bayern Munich and may make a move to sign him this summer, according to  90min.

The German arrived at Arsenal as a 16-year-old from Stuttgart in 2011.

He was always regarded as a promising young player, but he was never given the opportunity to establish himself at the Emirates.

Gnabry joined Werder Bremen on a permanent basis in 2016 after leaving Arsenal.

A year later, Bayern Munich signed him, and he has since gone on to become one of the best wingers in the world.

Arsenal are trying to bring in a wide player this summer, and Gnabry is being considered, according to the source.

Bayern Munich has only one year left on Gnabry’s contract.

The German champions have been attempting to lock him down to a new contract for some time, but there has yet to be a breakthrough in negotiations.

Bayern Munich has only one year left on Gnabry’s contract.

According to the source, Arsenal has been keeping a close eye on the 26-year-old’s contract  status at the Allianz Arena, and Edu may soon launch a bid to bring him back to the Emirates.

It has also been stated that Arsenal are considering Gnabry after realising that they are unlikely to sign Raphinha from Leeds United this summer.

The Gunners apparently favoured the Brazilian, but now that he appears certain to join either Chelsea or Barcelona, a deal for Gnabry might be considered.

It’s as easy as that: if the Gunners can sign Gnabry, the Gunners should sign Gnabry.

The German, dubbed “world class,” is regarded as one of the top wingers in the world.

Although his best position is out wide, he can play anywhere in the front three, and his statistics for Bayern are nothing short of spectacular.

Gnabry scored 17 goals and assisted 10 times for the Bundesliga giants last season, a fantastic performance for someone who usually played on the right wing.

Most clubs in the world would be smart to sign him this summer.

Raphinha is a brilliant player in his own right, but Gnabry is a class above the Brazilian. If the possibility to re-sign the German presents itself, Arsenal should seize it.
