A front three of Gabriel Jesus, Bukayo Saka, and Gabriel Martinelli has solidified Arsenal’s attack.

That appears to be a difficult challenge for the Gunners to solve.

Mikel Arteta, on the other hand, may have taken inspiration from Liverpool with his new-look Arsenal team.

It’s difficult not to draw comparisons between this Arsenal attack and Jurgen Klopp’s title-winning one.

Jesus, Saka, and Martinelli share the same question that Jurgen Klopp had to answer. How do you keep improving on what appears to be unbreakable?

Diogo Jota provided the solution for the German coach. Liverpool paid a high price to bring in the versatile forward from Wolves, and the Portuguese attacker has since found a place in his team.

Mane was then replaced by Luis Diaz, another inverted left winger with excellent technical ability and goal-scoring ability. If it isn’t broken…

Arteta had specifically requested that Vieira play on the right wing, according to Under-21 head coach Mehmet Ali.

Arsenal has been linked with wide players this window, but with the arrival of Fabio Vieira, Arteta may have already secured the club’s own Jota signing.

In 2-1 win over Swansea, the 22-year-old made his unofficial Arsenal debut for the under-21s.

Arteta had specifically requested that Vieira play on the right wing, according to Under-21 head coach Mehmet Ali.

He demonstrated his excellent ball control and passing abilities, creating a viral moment with a glorious chipped ball over the Swansea defence for the onrushing Emile Smith Rowe.

However, as Mikel Arteta points out, Vieira can play anywhere. “That’s something the player will tell us,” he said ahead of Leicester City’s victory.

“We are already trying him in different positions in training, and he’s played on the left, right, as a false nine and an attacking midfielder, so it’s good. He doesn’t want to be locked in any one position, because he’s so used to it, and that’s a really positive thing for us.”

Anyone come to mind? Not only is Vieira Portuguese, having spent time with Porto, but he, like Jota, is versatile.

Arsenal’s season has gotten off to a flying start, and Vieira has yet to make an appearance.

According to Arteta, Arsenal is still active in the transfer window, so there is still plenty to be excited about.
