Arsenal accused of being ‘very greedy’ as Ben White breaks silence on Arsenal transfer speculations.

Just weeks ago, that the French press first reported Mattéo Guendouzi had an outline agreement to join Marseille.

The midfielder will be released to bequeath Arsenal this summer, with the club seeing no future for him under Mikel Arteta.

Spending last season on loan at Hertha Berlin, the Frenchman had a diverse period but has still survived to receive transfer interest, largely due to his potential.

The initial releases spoke of the Arsenal player traveling to Marseille to view the club’s facilities and speak to those in charge at the Ligue 1 side.

Both parties were definitely happy with whatever was said at those meetings, and attention then turned to find an agreement with the Gunners.

Despite the will of Guendouzi and Marseille, Arsenal are a hard nut to crack, and Monday’s edition of L’Equipe sends a little snipe their way. The Premier League club are blamed of being ‘very greedy’ with their needs, although the French newspaper don’t state what figure Arsenal are now asking for.

Ben White breaks silence over Arsenal transfer speculations

Brighton defender Ben White has broken his silence on the latest Arsenal transfer rumors that have dominated headlines.

The England international is being strongly coonected with a move to the Emirates Stadium by The Athletic and others, and he’s revealed it’s “nice” hearing about big clubs being occupied in him.

However, White didn’t give a lot of information. However, he also maintained that players don’t tend to talk much about transfer gossip whilst on international duty together as it’s never completely clear what’s true and what’s not.

When questioned about the speculation by talkSPORT, White said: “It’s nice, it’s happened quite a lot over the last two years, there’s been a lot of noise.”

On if he’s discussed it with team-mates, he added: “Not really. You don’t know what’s true and what’s not. So there’s no real point talking about it.”

Arsenal supporters will hope this transfercan be made official as soon as possible, with White looking an excellent signing for Mikel Arteta’s squad right now.

The Gunners were hugely frustrating last season as they failed to even qualify for the Europa League, and White looks perfect to help them progress at the back.

With David Luiz departing, a new signing in defense makes sense as being a priority, and the 23-year-old could be a perfect long-term purchase for that position.
