Antonio Conte told Arsenal’s success this season has killed a lot of his arguments after Spurs latest outburst

Jamie Carragher pointed out that Arsenal’s achievements this season contradict Antonio Conte’s arguments at Tottenham Hotspur, as the team continues to struggle.

For Tottenham fans, it was another typical weekend as they were leading 3-1 against Southampton but ended up conceding a late penalty, resulting in a draw. This outcome left Conte extremely angry.

The manager of Tottenham Hotspur, Antonio Conte, criticized his players’ lack of determination, dedication, and willingness to fight, labeling them as “selfish.”

Conte also emphasized that the team has not won any significant titles for a long time and appeared to hold the players accountable for this failure.

However, some people have doubts that Conte’s outburst will help dispel the notion that he will depart from Tottenham at the end of the season.

On Twitter, pundit Jamie Carragher expressed his opinion that Antonio Conte should not speak disrespectfully about Tottenham, especially considering that they offered him a lucrative contract.

Carragher also stated that Arsenal’s progress this season contradicts many of Conte’s criticisms and complaints.

Despite finishing above Arsenal last season and securing a Champions League spot, Tottenham is now trailing behind Arsenal by 17 points, who sit at the top of the Premier League table.

Carragher believes that Arsenal’s recent success is a significant shift from their past performances, and he thinks that Conte should strive to achieve similar changes at Tottenham.

Despite Antonio Conte’s criticisms of his Tottenham players, many of them were part of the team that finished above Arsenal less than a year ago.

However, it seems that Conte has not made the same progress with Tottenham as Mikel Arteta has with Arsenal. Tottenham’s style of play has been unimpressive, and their elimination from various cup competitions has not gone over well with fans.

In contrast, Arteta has improved Arsenal’s players and introduced an impressive style of play. Conte appears to be hinting at leaving Tottenham, but he seems surprised when his players are not fully committed.

Conte has had a challenging season outside of football, and it may be best for everyone to part ways this summer.
