Antonio Conte predicts where Man Utd will finish, makes bold Chelsea claim

Antonio Conte thinks that Manchester United  has almost guaranteed themselves a top-three position in the Premier League, and he has expressed his confidence in Chelsea’s ability to unexpectedly compete for the last remaining spot in the top-four.

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte admits that Arsenal and Manchester City are battling for the Premier League title excitingly, while Erik ten Hag is leading Manchester United to continue performing well.

Therefore, Conte believes that only one spot for the Champions League is available.

Currently, Tottenham holds the final position in the top four.

They have widened the gap to six points ahead of Liverpool, who unexpectedly lost to Bournemouth.

Newcastle United is seven points behind Tottenham, with two games still in hand. Meanwhile, if Brighton wins their three games in hand, they would be tied with Spurs.

As the season enters a crucial stage, the competition to secure a top-four finish is intensifying.

Antonio Conte thinks that Chelsea deserves to be considered as a contender after their recent resurgence under Graham Potter.

Despite a disappointing season, Chelsea have managed to secure their third consecutive victory on Saturday, leaving them 11 points behind Tottenham but with a game in hand.

Antonio Conte’s Man Utd prediction, bold Chelsea claim

“We know very well the race for a place in Champions League will be really, really tough. You see the competitors,” Conte said after Spurs beat Forest thanks to Harry Kane’s double and a Son Heung-min goal.

“You see there are many, many teams involved and I think in this moment there is only one place available because Man City and Arsenal are fighting to win the Premier League and Man United I think are showing they have great continuity of good results.

“I continue to say maybe this season it be much more difficult, much more difficult because Liverpool is a competitor in this race.

“Newcastle is a competitor and Newcastle is a different Newcastle to the past. They invest a lot of money and they have a strong team.

“You see Chelsea and what happened there and their position, but I don’t consider Chelsea outside [the top-four race]. They have the possibility to win the last 11 or 12 games in a row because the squad is really, really strong.

“But we need to think about ourselves. A top club looks at themselves, not to other results.

“We have to be focused on our path and to try to do our best until the end of the season and then we see which is the position we are able to achieve.”

AC Milan eliminated Tottenham from the Champions League during the week, which was a setback for the team. However, Tottenham was able to bounce back and relieve some of the immediate pressure on manager Antonio Conte with a victory over Nottingham Forest.

Meanwhile, the reigning champions Manchester City also secured a win by defeating Crystal Palace 1-0, cutting Arsenal’s lead at the top of the table to just two points.

Arsenal will play their game in hand tomorrow against eighth-placed Fulham, with Mikel Arteta’s side traveling to Craven Cottage.
