Antonio Conte may soon unleash a new Spurs tactic against Mikel Arteta and Arsenal

Tottenham’s 6-2 victory over Leicester City presented Antonio Conte and his Spurs coaching staff with plenty talking points.

Returning to winning ways after Tuesday’s Champions League loss to Sporting CP, the lopsided victory over the Foxes did not precisely represent how the game transpired.

Many would have concluded, based on the score, that it was a fairly one-sided affair in north London.

Son Heung-amazing min’s hat-trick put the game out of reach, despite the fact that Brendan Rodgers’s squad caused Tottenham a number of problems up until that point.

In the 70th minute, Dejan Kulusevski was replaced by Yves Bissouma, a significant substitution.

Switching to a midfield three in an effort to neutralise Leicester’s threat through the middle, which they had repeatedly exploited due to their additional midfielder, was advantageous for Spurs and Son.

The Lilywhites had a few more opportunities to expand their lead in the closing 20 minutes of their 6-2 victory, which they secured by virtue of a sensational hat-trick scorer.

After a much-needed victory following their loss in Lisbon, Tottenham will enter the North London Derby against Arsenal after the international break in a buoyant mindset.

On the basis of the 3-5-2 system’s success in the closing 20 minutes against Leicester, Antonio Conte’s team may neutralise Arsenal’s threat through the middle, which they would  exploit due to their extra midfielder.

This would be helpful for Spurs and Son and cause Arteta’s team difficulties.
