Dejan Kulusevski responded with a single word on Instagram to Cristian Romero’s performance after Tottenham Hotspur’s victory over Chelsea on Sunday.
The win was significant for Spurs as they strive to finish in the top four of the Premier League. Harry Kane and Oliver Skipp scored the two goals, allowing them to move four points ahead of Newcastle.
Tottenham had a relatively easy victory, and Fraser Forster didn’t have much to do. On the other hand, Chelsea struggled to perform effectively in the attacking third. Tottenham seems to be improving recently, although they must be cautious not to become too overconfident. Consistency has been a significant problem for them throughout the season.
Nonetheless, two consecutive 2-0 victories suggest that they might be turning a corner. Their defense has been outstanding in both games, and Romero has particularly stood out.
The team has an upcoming match in the FA Cup, and they also have a decent chance of advancing to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. Additionally, they currently occupy fourth place in the league standings and have created some distance between themselves and Newcastle.
